In other news, we had a band meeting and decided not to remove the link to Freddy Sjostrom's blog from our website, despite his having been traded to the Leafs. Dude will always spiritually be a Flame, for us at least.

In the meantime we'll keep our eyes peeled for a Finnish Nik Hagman blog...

We played last week at the Super 8 Film Festival Challenge Contest. Folks made films. Festival Challenge Contest winning worthy films. Thanks to them for having us. I laughed the hardest at 'The Daddenning.'

Anyway, that was then. Now we're playing this thursday again at Broken City with Chris Page, ex of remarkable rock and roll outfit The Stand GT. We can't wait to see him.

We're also raising dollars for our start-to-finish album-length cover of Zen Arcade, to be recorded entirely via Frippertronics. We've hit about a $150 of the more or less two hundred grand we'll need to do this properly. Watch the website soon for some kind of thermometer graphic.

(Failing that, we may decide instead to record one or two of our own songs. Depending on how busy Matheson is in the upcoming while expounding the virutes of Inglewood in local papers. You see, Inglewood is a neighborhood and many artists live there. Its news.)
